At April 16 NA sitting, the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Local Self-Government authored by the NA deputy Vagharshak Hakobyan was debated for completely adopting in the second reading.

The key rapporteur Vagharshak Hakobyan has underlined that the bill is aimed at making the organization and management of road traffic more efficient. According to it, responsible authorized bodies should be clearly defined by the decision of the Government.

It was noted that the written proposals were presented by the deputies, accordingly the draft law remained unchanged.

The co-rapporteur, the deputy Tatevik Gasparyan presented the endorsement of the Head Committee.

The Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan has stated that the Government is in favor of the proposed amendments.
